Abstract: Health and Human Services Secretary Louis Sullivan and Agency for International Development administrator Ronald Roskens will fulfill President Bush's promise to the United Nations when they visit Africa on a 17-day fact-finding mission to study child health and the impact of AIDS in Africa. Sullivan, Roskens, and a delegation leave next Wednesday to visit eight countries, including the Ivory Coast, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. President Bush had told the U.N. he would see what "America and the world can do to advance child survival" in Africa and the world. The delegation will attempt to bring about improvements in survival for children and for women and children with AIDS.
