"AIDS Commission Holds Session in Minnesota"

Abstract: St. Paul, Minn.--The National AIDS Commission will heartestimony from the U.S. Conference of Mayors, the National Association of Counties, the National Conference of State Legislatures, and federal and state health officials when it holds a working group meeting in Minnesota Jan. 4-5. At the meeting, the group will take the various officials' testimony into consideration as it attempts to delineate federal, state, and local responsibilities for dealing with the epidemic. The commission, an indepedent body that advises the president and Congress on AIDS issues, will hold its next full meeting in Los Angeles Jan. 24-25.
