Montreal--Doctors say they will test one in three babies born in Quebec under a new program to measure the seropositivity rate among women of child-bearing age. Dr. Catherine Hankins of the Montreal Community Health Department said the program will create a statistical picture of the infection rate to show the spread of the disease in the heterosexual population. The anonymous, two-year testing program starts on Jan. 1. Canada has reported 1970 cases of AIDS. Of those with the disease, 1100 have died.
