PRNewswire - November 28, 2005

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- What's on your plate Friday, December 2nd?

"DINE OUT ANN ARBOR" will give area residents the opportunity to fight AIDS by doing something they frequently do: Eat Out!

Nearly 50 restaurants from Ann Arbor and neighboring cities will participate in the Sixth Annual "DINE OUT ANN ARBOR" benefit on Friday, December 2nd. Local restaurants will donate 10% of that day's sales to the Midwest AIDS Prevention Project (MAPP), Michigan's largest non-profit AIDS educational organization.

Modeled after its successful sister event, "DINE OUT DETROIT" which features over 100 restaurants in over 35 metro Detroit cities, "DINE OUT ANN ARBOR" is exclusive to the Ann Arbor market and has received tremendous support from the community.

Participating restaurants include: Gratzi, The Chop House, B.D.'s Mongolian Barbeque, Rush Street, Conor O'Neills, The Original Cottage Inn, Carson's American Bistro and La Dolce Vita. The event is sponsored by FOX2 News, the Metro Times, Current Magazine, Compton Printing, Between the Lines and WDET-FM 102. The Honorary Host is Lee Thomas of FOX2 News.

For more information about "DINE OUT ANN ARBOR" or for a complete list of restaurants, check the Metro Times, visit the web at http://www.dineoutmichigan.org or call MAPP at 248-545-1435.
