Lingerie Bowl 2005 and AIDS Research Alliance of America Will Team on Super Bowl Sunday in the Fight Against AIDS: National Charity Will Benefit From PPV Broadcast

PRNewswire - July 27, 2004

LOS ANGELES, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Horizon Productions, Inc. is proud to announce that Pay-Per-View sales from the Lingerie Football League's (LFL) second annual Super Bowl halftime alternative Lingerie Bowl 2005 (http://www.lingeriebowl.com) will benefit the AIDS Research Alliance of America (http://www.aidsresearch.org). "The significant wave of publicity surrounding the upcoming inaugural LFL season and Lingerie Bowl 2005 will once again lead to tremendous success on Super Bowl Sunday and raise much needed funding for AIDS research and treatment," said Mitch Mortaza, Creator/Executive Producer of Lingerie Bowl 2005.

Since 1989 AIDS Research Alliance of America (ARA) has been an innovator in HIV/AIDS clinical research and has been directly involved in the development of many of the FDA approved HIV medications available today. ARA exists both to find a cure for AIDS and to improve the quality of life for those living with the illness. "We are excited that this relationship with Lingerie Bowl 2005 will allow us to bring increased awareness of the AIDS pandemic to those who may not hear this message frequently enough, and are increasingly at risk for HIV infection", said Irl Barefield, Executive Director of AIDS Research Alliance of America.

The Lingerie Football League will feature four teams of model/actress' which include defending champion Los Angeles Temptation, Dallas Desire, Chicago Bliss and New York Euphoria. These (52) fifty-two beautiful athletes were chosen from a field of over (1,500) fifteen hundred women who auditioned during several football boot camps. The four LFL teams will face-off in the inaugural "Garter & Lace Championship Sunday" which is a single elimination playoff on January 30, 2005 to determine who advances to play in the second annual Lingerie Bowl. The success of this past year's Lingerie Bowl has spawned not only the forming of the Lingerie Football League, but a television reality series in development, video game and home video. Horizon Productions is currently in discussion with potential corporate sponsors of the Lingerie Football League and Lingerie Bowl 2005.

Horizon Productions, founded in 2003, is a full-service, Hollywood-based entertainment company engaged in the development of alternative film and television, as well as talent packaging, event production and media/sponsorship management. "With the global entertainment marketplace growing more diverse every day, the challenge of keeping up with ever-changing demand requires, simply, to know what the people want and to give it to them. That's the mission of Horizon Productions," explains Mortaza.
