New Symbol of Hope for HIV/AIDS Supporters

PR Newswire, 810 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019 - Wednesday, 20 November 1996.

FERNDALE, Mich., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Midwest AIDS Prevention Project (MAPP) is proud to present "INFINITY," the new symbol of hope in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS. This one of a kind jewelry emblem can only be described as a masterpiece. Its intricate design and symbolism breathe new life into the struggle to foster awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS.

Matthew Gross of MHG Jewelry designed this piece to become the new symbol of hope and to honor and support the efforts of the Midwest AIDS Prevention Project, a non profit agency providing HIV/AIDS prevention education throughout the Great Lakes Region.

This piece with its intricate lattice is reminiscent of the AIDS memorial quilt and is a poignant reminder of all the friends and loved ones who have been lost. The lattice is set within a circle which has no beginning and no end keeping the memories of our loved ones forever in our minds.

This limited edition masterpiece is now available from the Midwest AIDS Prevention Project in 100% sterling silver and rose gold or sterling silver and copper. "INFINITY" comes in two sizes, one-inch or a half inch and can be ordered as a brooch, tie pin or pendent. Each pin is handmade, numbered and signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity with a price range of $35 to $120.

For more information about "INFINITY," call the MAPP office at 810-545-1435 or MHG Jewelry Studio at 810-584-0253.
