We are pleased to announce the addition of HIV/AIDS-related news from the Voice of America (VOA). A small number of files are now available from 2002 and 2004. Look for additional files over the next few weeks. Voice of America news articles are available in both Real Audio and MP3 formats, and are yet another unique addition to the AEGiS knowledgebase.

AEGiS is but one of the proud recipient agencies of the 18th Annual AIDS Walk Orange County, hosted by AIDS Services Foundation.
Nearly 10,000 of your closest friends and family will gather at UC Irvine on Sunday, June 6, in a fundraiser that improves the lives of everyone living in Orange County. As one of Orange County's largest walk-a-thon events, AIDS Walk supports nine (9) Recipient Agencies each of which is committed to providing quality care, education and advocacy to everyone in Orange County living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.
Can't attend the Walk on the day of the event? You can still donate by participating in our 'Virtual AIDS Walk'. Online donations are easy to make through the website with security offered by VeriSign. Click on the VeriSign logo to verify the membership of the AWOC website.

During the month of March 763,517 visitors logged onto the AEGiS website; whether it be for personal HIV/AIDS knowledge, a useful professional tool, or utilized as a reference for students. Our commitment to dispensing HIV/AIDS information for free is reinforced when we know that our work is making a difference to you. In addition, due to our new and easy Donate Now program, support for AEGiS generated donations of $330 in March.
In the recent weeks, one of you nominated AEGiS for the Tech Museum Awards, quoted as being, "a unique and prestigious program that honors and awards innovators from around the world who use technology to benefit humanity". We are honored by this distinction that will not only garner worldwide attention, but a cash prize to the winner in each category --wish us luck! If interested, please access the Tech Museum Awards website located at: http://techawards.thetech.org/ ... to whomever it was that nominated us - thank you!
Tax deductible donations can be made by credit card via our new Donate Now feature, or by sending a check payable to AEGiS, to:
