Care Needs of HIV-Infected Children at New Jersey Children's Hospital

This study examines both acute (inpatient) and ambulatory (outpatient) care utilization by 136 pediatric HIV patients who received all their care at a single facility--Children's Hospital of Newark, New Jersey--between 1984 and the end of 1988, prior to the widespread use of antiviral or prophylactic medications in children.
