AIDS and Voluntary Screening Among Gay Men

This article presents a simple, dynamic model for predicting the spread of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in populations of gay men. The effect of voluntary screening of high-risk men on the spread of the virus will be studied. The model allows variation of any of the parameters, and their effects on the behavior of the HIV-positive population can be investigated.
