AIDS: Reading Level Analysis of Understanding AIDS

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the readability of Understanding AIDS, which was sent to every postal customer between May 26 and June 15, 1988. This is a follow-up study to research conducted by Ledbetter and Johnson, who investigated the readability of three widely disseminated AIDS pamphlets written expressly for the public.
