![]() August 21-22, 2008 - The Health Justice Action Conference (H-JAC) sponsored by the Center for Health Justice, will convene approximately 100 California-based service providers, policy advocates, health professionals, public officials, and community representatives interested in building a statewide coalition focused on improving the treatment and prevention of HIV, Hepatitis, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases in correctional facilities. This is the first in a series of planned activities designed to foster a collaborative response to the health issues impacting our communities inside and outside of the state's prisons and jails. Service providers, policy advocates, health professionals, public officials, and community representatives. No money or membership required. Center for Health Justice empowers people affected by incarceration and HIV to make healthier choices and advocates for the elimination of disparities between prisoner health and public health. We are located in Los Angeles California and provide HIV and Hepatitis education inside the LA County jails. |

The 2008 ADAP Formularies (covered drugs) National Advocacy efforts for people with HIV and/or Hepatitis are being enjoined by Project Inform. Hepatitis C Advocates UNITED ! is a national, grassroots network of individuals and organizations fighting for increased funding for hepatitis programs and legislation to mount a comprehensive federal effort to fight the disease.
