Financial Eligibility
  • Certified as medically indigent by the Medicaid program or limited/no coverage by a drug prescription plan, as documented by the state, their health insurance plan, Consortia or Community-Based Organization.
Medical Eligibility
  • HIV +
  • CD4 < 350 or viral load > 10,000.

Pharmacy Medications are distributed through one of the 8 Regional Immunologic Clinics (RICs).
Nutrition Ensure, Sustacal, Advera and Pediasure available through the HIV CARE Consortiums. Other supplements may be covered in some circumstances.

  • Controlled release iron with vitamin B & C complex, including folic acid (Iberet)
  • folic acid
  • multivitamins
  • pyridoxine (B6)
  • sterile water
