HIV Care and ADAP

There is no enrollment cap for ADAP Program and drugs are dispensed through a list of networked pharmacies clients who are enrolled in the program will receive. In order to receive ADAP there must be a Medicaid denial letter but coverage will be provided until that happens. Coverage of a wide range of treatments when enrolling through any of the HIV case management agencies for assistance. They do have an insurance continuation program among other assistances. To be eligible you must be:

  • Enrolled in HIV Case Management
  • Documented HIV +
  • Residing in Missouri
  • Earning less than 300% federal poverty level
  • Have no other payer source for medications

Medicaid Case Management

HIV Case Management provides assistance in locating, coordinating services, and referring for HIV-infected Missouri residents, based on assessed needs. HIV Case Management is provided free of charge regardless of the client's income or insurance status.

To be eligible for SPPC and AIDS Waiver program services, the following criteria must be met:

  • be enrolled in HIV Case Management in Missouri
  • be Medicaid eligible
  • be assessed at a nursing home level of care
  • be diagnosed as having AIDS or HIV-related illness
  • be in need of a SPPC/AIDS Waiver program service
  • be assessed as meeting two medical criteria to receive private duty nursing or attendant care
