Case ManagementNo Care Network or Care Consortium - clients can seek service any where of their choosing so long as the provider is willing to accept the benefit (insurance card). Care Coordination is funded by Family Social Services Administration (the folks implementing Medicaid). Care Coordinators are listed to the right. Special Populations Support ProgramAll services are free of charge. The Special Populations Support Program (SPSP) is administered by the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) and the Division of HIV/STD. The program is designed to deliver two distinct but complementary services: disease prevention and supportive care. SPSP employs certified HIV testing counselors who have been specially trained to perform comprehensive risk assessments, pre-test counseling, testing, post-test counseling with the substance using population. The testing counselors conduct their testing activities in a variety of venues, including the statewide treatment facilities sanctioned by the Department of Mental Health and Addictions (DMHA). HIV positive individuals are then referred to the programÕs support specialists who engage the consumer with interventions designed to minimize substance use and maximize compliance with all applicable treatment plans.
