ADAP Eligibility

  • HIV + or AIDS diagnosis
  • Over 18 yrs of age
  • Prescription for a covered drug from a CA licensed physician
  • Income at or below 400% of the current Federal Poverty Level
  • If your income is too high to qualify but is less than $50,000, A sliding scale co-payment based on annual state income tax liability can apply
  • Your health insurance does not provide drugs as a benefit or your co-payment plan is causing financial hardship or you cannot be enrolled in HMO, health insurance programs or other public programs
  • Annual recertification required
