Program Eligibility
The patient must meet the following criteria to qualify:
  • Has no health insurance or no prescription coverage.
  • Not eligible for Medicaid, ADAP, or other drug assistance programs.
  • Income criteria is set lower than each state's AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).
Enrollment Process
The health care provider must call and provide the patient's income, insurance, and medical information. Bristol-Myers Squibb will then fax the application to the clinician's office after the initial enrollment call is made. A case management number will be assigned.
Re-Application
The health care provider must resubmit an application every 6-months.
Comments
Since enrollment is essentially handled over the phone, the turn around is done under 24-hours. The enrollee can expect their prescription to be available in 3-5 business days.
