Program Eligibility
The patient must meet the following criteria to qualify:
  • Has no health insurance or no prescription coverage.
  • Not eligible for Medicaid, ADAP, or other drug assistance programs.
  • Income eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
Enrollment Process
A telephone interview is conducted with the patient. Must submit proof of income.
Re-Application
After acceptance into the program re-enrollment will be necessary at 6-month intervals. Schering-Plough will contact the participant to alert them when the time comes.
Comments
The time frame for the arrival of the medication will vary. The review of applications and income information takes 2-3 days. A prescription from the treating doctor will need to be sent to the program, arrangements for delivery will be coordinated with the patient.
