World Fact Book: The Factbook was created as an annual summary and update to the encyclopedic NIS studies. The first classified Factbook was published in August 1962, and the first unclassified version was published in June 1971. The 1975 Factbook was the first to be made available to the public with sales through the US Government Printing Office (GPO).
VA Center for HIV Research Resources: The AIDS Information Center was established in 1989 to meet the rapidly expanding information needs of VA personnel involved in HIV/AIDS patient care, education and research. The Center is located in Learning Resources Service at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.

AIDS Community Research Initiative of America (ACRIA): The AIDS Community Research Initiative of America (ACRIA) is a non-profit community-based AIDS research and treatment education center. In conjunction with recognized leaders in AIDS research and treatment, primary-care providers, and people living with HIV disease; ACRIA: identifies scientifically promising therapies for AIDS and HIV-related illness, designs and implements studies on these interventions, and submits the findings for publication; conducts research geared towards the further understanding of HIV disease, treatment, and prevention; and provides education about AIDS treatments and research to the communities affected by HIV/AIDS.
AIDS Medicine and Miracles: AIDS, Medicine & Miracles is a national non-profit organization. We promote the well being of people confronting AIDS through educational programming that supports the mind, body and spirit. In a supportive setting, our national programs explore medical and complementary therapies, as well as psychosocial and spiritual opportunities. AIDS, Medicine & Miracles serves individuals living with HIV/AIDS, loved ones, caregivers, health care professionals, and other interested persons to create dialogue that promotes health, growth, and social action. Now embarking on our fourteenth year, we produce programs advocating an aggressive, integrated approach to HIV management.

Artery - the AIDS arts forum: Since the last World AIDS DAY, we've entered the Third Millenium and are on the brink of the third decade of the AIDS epidemic. The irony is that it's clearer than ever that there are numerous AIDS epidemics, not just one. For many people with HIV/AIDS in the developed world, the situation has improved. But not so for the burgeoning populations with HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa, India, China, and the former Soviet Union. The time-honored axiom that every community has its own AIDS epidemic remains entirely apt.
AIDS Therapeutic Treatment Now (ATTN): ATTN is an international coalition of organizations committed to HIV/AIDS treatment access worldwide. ATTN’s initial goal: 2 million people from the developing world into treatment by 2004.
CARE's AIDS Information Center: Since the late 1980s, CARE has fought against the spread of AIDS. Today CARE offers AIDS prevention projects in 17 high-risk countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
CORE Initiative: The Communities Responding to the HIV/AIDS Epidemic (CORE) Initiative is a USAID-funded global program, whose mission is to support an inspired, effective and inclusive response to the causes and consequences of HIV/AIDS by strengthening the capacity of community and faith-based groups worldwide. The main approach of the CORE Initiative is to leverage existing efforts, while catalyzing and encouraging new efforts through diverse and innovative partnerships in the areas of community-based prevention, stigma reduction, and care and support to people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA) and their families.

Global Strategies for HIV Prevention: Global Strategies for HIV Prevention is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to implement international strategies to prevent HIV infection by means of strategic alliances with those who share in a compassion for alleviating the suffering of children.
Health Cares Exchange Initiative: Founded in Boston in 1992, HCEI's mission is to create supportive inclusive networks for caregivers, including AIDS caregivers, in diversely affected geographic areas and then foster information and personnel exchanges between them. HCEI works to encourage caregiver collaboration, enhance community-based care, and educate caregivers about stress management.

International Council of AIDS Service Organizations: ICASO is the International Council of AIDS Service Organizations, a global network of non-governmental and community-based organizations. ICASO was formed in 1991 with secretariats in five geographic regions, and a central secretariat based in Canada. In 1995 ICASO was incorporated under Canadian law.

Names Project: The AIDS Memorial Quilt is the largest on-going community arts project in the world. Each of the over 41,000 colorful panels in the Quilt was made to remember the life of a person lost to AIDS.

Sex Information and Education Council of the United States: SIECUS works to make sure that information, knowledge, and skills are within everybody's reach. Each year, SIECUS distributes hundreds of thousands of print and electronic resources to educators, advocates, parents, researchers, physicians, and others working to expand sexual health programs, policies, and understanding. SIECUS also offers specialized assistance to help individuals locate research, write accurate news articles, create sexual health curriculum, and build support for high quality programs in their community.
The Synergy Project: The Synergy Project is a five-year, performance-based contract that provides technical assistance and services to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to design, evaluate, and coordinate HIV/AIDS programs and identify and disseminate lessons learned from these programs. AIDS Project Arizona: AIDS Project Arizona is dedicated to stopping the transmission of HIV, empowering infected persons to live longer and providing an innovative, comprehensive continuum of services for individuals and families affected by this pandemic. Through program participants, volunteers, staff, community partnerships and public involvement, AIDS Project Arizona commits to championing human dignity, diversity and personal independence.
Body Positive: Body Positive, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, was created by and for people infected and affected by HIV. We provide the community with the knowledge, resources and collective strength necessary for individuals to live long and well with HIV and to prevent the spread of the disease. During 2001, Body Positive served more than 1,700 men, women and children infected with HIV and AIDS in Arizona. We reached thousands more with our prevention messages and outreach efforts.

Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation: In 1997, responding to the needs of their clients and community, PACT, Shanti, and TAP merged under the name Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF). Arkansas AIDS Foundation: The Arkansas AIDS Foundation (AAF) provides case management, payment assistance for HIV/AIDS prescription medication, payment assistance for dental bills, and complete nutritional services. In addition to conducting wellness weekends, AAF has initiated a job and work-placement program, a women's support group program, and has provided much needed leadership to the entire ASO community in central Arkansas. Project Inform: Project Inform has been at the front lines in the fight against HIV and AIDs since 1985—when reliable information about the disease and its treatment was nearly impossible to obtain. Project Inform is a national, non-profit, community-based organization working to end the AIDS epidemic.
Project Open Hand: In 1985 Ruth Brinker, a retired grandmother, watched a dear friend die of AIDS. She realized that, for many people with AIDS, malnutrition was causing death as much as the illness itself. At that time, no social service agency would provide meals to those too weak from AIDS and too impoverished to feed themselves. Using her experience as a manager with another food program, Ruth enlisted the help of friends, secured a basement kitchen at a local church and began to deliver daily meals to seven clients. Project Open Hand was born.
San Francisco AIDS Foundation: The San Francisco AIDS Foundation was founded in 1982 in San Francisco's Castro district as an emergency response to a quickly emerging health crisis. Its primary purpose was simply to assemble and disseminate critical information to gay men who were being diagnosed with a rare and frightening cancer.
The California Collaborations in HIV Prevention Research Dissemination Project: The California Collaborations in HIV Prevention Research Dissemination Project represents collaboration at its best – research and community experts working together to meet challenges and achieve critical prevention and research goals. The modules in the Dissemination Project focus on prevention research projects that represent partnerships among funders, scientists, and front-line community service providers.
UCSF AIDS Program: The mission of the UCSF AIDS Health Project is to provide culturally sensitive counseling and education to stop the spread of HIV infection, and to help people face the emotional, psychological and social challenges of living with HIV disease.

AIDS Coalition for Education: The AIDS Coalition for Education (ACE) was formed during the summer of 1986. It is comprised of over thirty public and private organizations and individuals who have interests in, or activities specifically related to HIV/AIDS education, information, and prevention at either local or statewide levels. ACE is the oldest such coalition of its kind in the nation. Its mission statement is "to combat, statewide, the two epidemics associated with HIV/AIDS: the epidemic of fear and the epidemic of HIV/AIDS as an infectious disease."
Colorado AIDS Project: The mission of the Colorado AIDS Project (CAP) is to improve lives affected by HIV and AIDS and to prevent HIV infection. Since its inception in 1983, Colorado AIDS Project (CAP) has served more than 3,000 women, men and children diagnosed with AIDS or Symptomatic HIV disease through its Client Services programs.
Northern Colorado AIDS Project: The Northern Colorado AIDS Project (NCAP) endeavors to empower persons affected by HIV and AIDS, to expand their options, and to promote their fundamental rights. To this end, NCAP educates and builds awareness of HIV/AIDS in our community. Services include anonymous & confidential HIV testing, HIV education, as well as outreach programs.
Southern Colorado AIDS Project: The mission of the Southern California AIDS Project (S-CAP) is to provide caring, empowering, and culturally sensitive services, support and hope to those infected and affected with HIV/AIDS in southern Colorado; deliver effective, research-based prevention programs that target high risk populations within our service area; and educate our communities regarding HIV transmission and other issues pertinent to the elimination of this epidemic.

Delaware HIV Consortium: The mission of the Delaware HIV Consortium is to facilitate and promote statewide coordination and collaboration of organizations, groups, and individuals who are developing, implementing, and advocating services and policies aimed at the prevention of HIV and the care of people and communities affected by HIV/AIDS in Delaware.

Title II Community AIDS National Network (TII • CANN): At the local, state, and national level, and in collaboration with groups and individuals who share our mission, TIICANN is committed to: • Providing technical assistance to create and strengthen the continuum of care; • Assisting in the education of our constituency regarding legislative and regulatory policy development, procedures and outcomes; • Developing a communications network for service providers, consumers, and communities involved in or interested in becoming involved with creative solutions to problems created by the American HIV/AIDS epidemic; and • Sponsoring national, regional and local educational Forums and Technical Assistance Training Sessions.
Whitman-Walker Clinic, Washington, D.C.: Whitman-Walker Clinic is a non-profit, volunteer-based, lesbian and gay community health organization serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Our volunteers and staff are dedicated to providing or facilitating the delivery of high quality, comprehensive, integrated and accessible health care services.

Care Resource: Care Resource is South Florida's oldest and largest HIV/AIDS service organization serving both Miami-Dade & Broward Counties. Approach includes working with our affected communities in creating and/or implementing prevention strategies, community outreach and education initiatives, testing, medical care, research protocols, as well as individual and family counseling and support services.
Florida Health Fraud Task Force: The Florida Health Fraud Task Force works to educate the public about fraudulent activities associated with HIV/AIDS. Members of the task force include representatives from community, state, and county agencies; AIDS service organizations; and private business.
Florida HIV/AIDS Hotline: The Florida HIV/AIDS Hotline began in May 1985 through an agreement with the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services (now called The Florida Department of Health) and Telephone Counseling and Referra Service of Tallahassee.
The League Against AIDS: The League Against AIDS, Inc. is a non-profit AIDS service corporation, dedicated to providing a continuum of educational, supportive and case management services. All of our services are provided at no direct cost to the client.
South Beach AIDS Project: SoBAP's mission is to work with the community to identify and address its local needs for HIV/AIDS prevention, education and care. The organization's guiding principles are community involvement and empowerment, non-bureaucratic organizational structure, cooperation with other organizations to maximize available resources and to avoid duplication of services, and encourage collaboration with our efforts.

Absolute Wellness: The Wellness Center offers services designed to improve an individuals wellness. All services are provided free of charge to those infected with HIV/AIDS and their affected caregivers. Services are divided into three areas: The Mind, the Body and the Spirit. All service providers are licensed or certified in their respective field.
AIDS Atlanta: AID Atlanta is a site that provides information which promotes AIDS and HIV awareness and education. Information is also given about HIV testing and research and volunteer opportunities.
Georgia AIDS Therapy Information Network: The Georgia AIDS Therapy Information Network (GATIN) was formed in 1990. The Members of this group are representatives of local AIDS organizations and government agencies. Our goal is to educate the community about the dangers of AIDS fraud and to increase the ability of individuals to make informed decisions about their health.
Home But Not Alone (HBNA) Housing Program: Home But Not Alone (HBNA) is a unique shared housing program for people who are living with HIV/AIDS.

Hawai'i AIDS Education and Training Center: The mission of the Hawai'i AIDS Education and Training Center and AIDS Education Project is to provide health and human service workers with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for people living with HIV disease. By listening to the expressed needs of HIV infected clients and their case managers, mental health workers, dental, nursing, and medical care providers, a variety of educational programs are offered throughout the year. These trainings include: one-hour didactic presentations on specific topics such as HIV treatment updates; full-day seminars for HIV case managers; and intensive HIV nursing skill-building programs.
Maui AIDS Foundation: The mission of the Maui AIDS Foundation is to stop the spread of HIV infection and AIDS by raising public awareness and understanding; Maximize the quality of life for those affected by HIV/AIDS through client services, Advocate for improved HIV/AIDS services.

South Central Idaho AIDS Coalition: The South Central Idaho AIDS Coalition (SCIAC) is a community-based volunteer organization in collaboration with other community organizations who are dedicated to the prevention of the spread of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, and the advocacy, care and physical, emotional and spiritual support of all persons living with HIV and AIDS in South Central Idaho. AIDS Foundation of Chicago: Since 1985, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) has led the fight against HIV/AIDS in metropolitan Chicago. AFC grants funding for local HIV/AIDS care and prevention programs, advocates for sound AIDS policy and increased public support for AIDS services, and through our Service Providers Council, develops and implements strategies for coordinating AIDS care and prevention services.
AIDSINFOSOURCE.COM: AIDSINFOSOURCE is dedicated to all those affected by HIV. Under the direction of Dr. Daniel Berger, AIDSINFOSOURCE provides the latest and upcoming news in scientific research in the area of HIV and AIDS. We will continue to be a source of information for the community and care givers.
Canticle Ministries: It was in 1992 that the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters, at their quadrennial Province gathering, dedicated part of their impressive ministry work to meeting the needs of the times for people with AIDS. Since then, there have been many dramatic changes in the course and treatment of the disease as well as the impact of stigma, stereotypes, and economics. Canticle Ministries will work with individuals and the community to facilitate the changes necessary so that people with HIV can live life with dignity, autonomy, and respect, while minimizing the impact of HIV on the greater community and lighting the way to a world without AIDS!

AIDS Ministries/AIDS Assist of Northern Indiana: The goals of AIDS Ministries/AIDS Assist of Northern Indiana are fivefold... Indiana AIDS Fund: The Indiana AIDS Fund is a private, philanthropic fund-raising and grant-making organization dedicated to supporting HIV/AIDS prevention and services programs in Indiana. Our goal is to build long-term alliances between Indiana's philanthropic community and HIV/AIDS education and service providers by engaging community leaders in the fight against AIDS.

The Rapids AIDS Project: The Rapids AIDS Project (RAP) has been part of the American Red Cross Grant Wood Area Chapter since 1986. RAP serves as an integral part of the Red Cross mission to help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies by educating the community on HIV and AIDS.

AIDS Action: AIDS Action is New England's oldest and largest provider of AIDS services, education and advocacy. Organized in 1983 by a small group of volunteers, the community-based organization now includes a professional staff of 100 supported by several thousand volunteers. AIDS Action currently provides support services to more than 1500 men, women and children living with AIDS and HIV.
Boston Living Center: The Boston Living Center is a non-profit community and resource center dedicated to serving all people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. With more than 1,600 members, it is the largest member-led organization for people with HIV in New England. Through peer support and direct services, the BLC is here to help people live with HIV and AIDS.
Harvard AIDS Institute: In 1988, the Harvard AIDS Institute was created to expedite and expand the already substantial amount of AIDS research conducted at Harvard University and its affiliated hospitals. Now at the forefront of the fight against AIDS, the Institute is dedicated to conducting research to end the worldwide AIDS epidemic.
Physicians for Human Rights: Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) promotes health by protecting human rights. We believe that human rights are essential preconditions for the health and well-being of all people. Using medical and scientific methods, we investigate and expose violations of human rights worldwide and we work to stop them.

Michigan's PWA Task Force: The Mission of this task force is to express the regional and statewide needs of the PLWH/A community. To facilitate a system which gives recommendations to decision making bodies. To provide advocacy and encourage continued support to meet the evolving needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS.
Midwest AIDS Prevention Project: The Midwest AIDS Prevention Project (MAPP) is one of Michigan's largest and oldest non-profit, community-based organizations whose mission is the prevention of HIV transmission through AIDS education and safer sex information.
University of Michigan HIV/AIDS Treatment Program: Serves as a way to introduce the University of Michigan HIV/AIDS program and to serve as a one-stop resource for those living with HIV & AIDS and those who deliver their care.

Missouri RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network): RAIN of Central Missouri was founded in 1992 by a small group of socially concerned members of the Missouri United Methodist Church in Columbia, Missouri. Within weeks of the initial concept being discussed, an advisory group of 20 community and religious leaders was formed. Word spread throughout the community that an interfaith effort was underway and by December 1992 there were four care teams and a total of 45 volunteers ready to be matched to clients to provide non-medical, compassionate care.

Montana Gay Men's Task Force: The Gay Men's Task Force is made up of gay men from across the state of Montana. We meet four times a year in person and several times a year via conference calls. The Task Force organizes retreats for gay men, HIV+ men, and young gay men as well as Native Americans. We also advise and make recommendations to the Governor's AIDS Council, and publish VISIONS, a newsletter for the Native American community. We supply free condoms and information on STDs, HIV, and Hep C.

Nebraska AIDS Project: Nebraska AIDS Project is a non-profit ASO, serving the entire state of Nebraska, parts of SW Iowa and Eastern Wyoming. As a statewide organization serving men, women and children affected by HIV and AIDS in Nebraska and Southwest Iowa, Nebraska AIDS Project acts to eliminate the spread of HIV and provides comprehensive services to all people affected by HIV and AIDS.

Nevada AIDS Drugs Assistance Program (ADAP): ADAP provides medications to low-income individuals with HIV disease, who have limited or no coverage from private insurance or Nevada.
Nevada State HIV/STD/TB Plan: The Nevada Comprehensive HIV Prevention Plan is dedicated to all members of the Nevada Community Planning Group, to those who are living with HIV, to those who have died from complications of AIDS, and to those who work tirelessly to prevent further HIV infections.
Northern Nevada HIV Outpatient Program, Education and Services: NORTHERN NEVADA H.O.P.E.S. is a non-profit, specialty clinic which provides outpatient medical care, education, and services for HIV positive individuals in northern Nevada and eastern California. H.O.P.E.S. is the lead agency for HIV/AIDS treatment and resources for all counties in Nevada except Clark and Nye and is also the main treatment resource for several counties in eastern California.

Buddies of New Jersey, Inc.: Since 1985, New Jersey Buddies has established itself as the foremost resource center serving Bergen and Passaic Counties. Thousands have called our helpline, utilized our food bank, made use of our transportation service, and received assurance either individually or by participating in one of our support groups. Case management, HIV/AIDS education, substance abuse counseling, and translation services are all a part of the support network.

AIDS Walk Oklahoma: The Purpose of AIDS Walk of Oklahoma City is to build awareness about HIV/AIDS and to raise funds to support the work of nonprofit organizations that provide HIV/AIDS direct care, service and education.
CHAIN: Oklahoma's Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Information Network: CHAIN was funded by the National Library of Medicine in September 2000, one of sixteen AIDS Community Outreach Contracts awarded in FY2000. Infectious Disease in Corrections Report: IDCR News (formerly HEPP News), is a forum for correctional problem solving, targets correctional administrators and HIV/AIDS care providers including physicians, nurses, outreach workers, and case managers. Published monthly and distributed by fax, HEPP News provides up-to-the-moment information on HIV treatment, efficient approaches to administering HIV treatment in the correctional environment, national and international news related to HIV in prisons and jails, and changes in correctional care that impact HIV treatment. Continuing Medical Education credits are provided by the Brown University Office of Continuing Medical Education to physicians who accurately respond to the questions on the last page of the newsletter.
RIPAC - Rhode Island Patient Advocacy Coalition: Rhode Island Patient Advocacy Coalition (RIPAC) is Rhode Island's grassroots medical marijuana community. Patients, caregivers, doctors, health care providers, advocates, lawyers, organizations, and citizens are invited to join our coalition. RIPAC seeks to educate all Rhode Islanders about medical marijuana and its therapeutic benefits, as well as the RI Medical Marijuana Act, as implemented by the RI Department of Health's Medical Marijuana Program.

Lowcountry AIDS Services: Lowcountry AIDS Services is a non-profit Social Service agency serving men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS. Lowcountry AIDS Services was founded in 1985. It is the only private or public organization in the Charleston tricounty area whose sole purpose is dealing with the issue of HIV infection and AIDS.

Berakhah House: Berakhah House is a home for women and men with AIDS. If a woman has a child who also has AIDS, both are welcome. Everyone may apply regardless of race, gender, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation.

Chattanooga Cares: Chattanooga CARES was organized in 1986 and received its non-profit status in 1988. Overseen by a board of directors, the agency employs 13 staff members and uses more than 200 trained volunteers to provide resources to anyone affected by AIDS. The agency maintains a strict policy of confidentiality and treats every client with dignity and respect, neither condemning nor condoning behaviors that place individuals at increased risk for HIV infection. We strive to be the leader in providing AIDS resources for people in our area affected by HIV and AIDS, while continuing our emphasis on prevention as the best tool for fighting HIV infection. We look forward to the day when a cure for AIDS is found, and we can close our doors.

The Center for AIDS: Houston: The Center for AIDS operates a treatment information center which is Houston's largest repository of AIDS treatment information. Friendly, knowledgeable staff are on hand to help people find the information they need.
Texas AIDS Health Fraud Information Network: The mission of the Texas AIDS Health Fraud Information Network is to educate the consumer on HIV/AIDS treatment fraud issues and concerns, especially as it relates to potentially dangerous or fraudulent therapies. TAHFIN also refers individuals who believe they have been defrauded to the appropriate regulatory agency.

Utah AIDS Foundation: In 1985, the Utah Department of Health reported a total of 17 persons living with AIDS in Utah. The state and most citizens were unprepared to address the HIV/AIDS issue. The need for public information and for assistance for persons living with HIV/AIDS forced a community-based response, which ultimately became the Utah AIDS Foundation (UAF). At the Utah AIDS Foundation we offer assistance and expertise to anyone struggling with the complex issues that surround HIV, because we believe that no one should have to confront this disease alone.

Vermont Cares: Vermont CARES' mission is to improve the quality of life, create compassionate communities, and prevent the spread of HIV by working with people affected by HIV/AIDS as catalysts for social and individual change.

Blue Mountain Heart to Heart: Blue Mountain Heart to Heart is a private non-profit organization providing positive, non-judgmental support and assistance to persons living with HIV/AIDS, their partners, families, and friends in Walla Walla and Columbia Counties of Washington State.
Dunshee House: Dunshee House (formerly known as Seattle AIDS Support Group) builds community and cultivates powerful, healthy, and fulfilling lives by facilitating support, discussion, and skills-building groups; mentoring; and coordinating retreats and special events. SASG maintains its cherished tradition as the Seattle AIDS Support Group by continuing to meet the emotional needs of those affected by HIV/AIDS.
Evergreen AIDS Foundation: Established in 1987, Evergreen AIDS Foundation (EAF) began as a grassroots community effort to meet the needs of people in Bellingham living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA). Over the last 15 years EAF has evolved to become the largest community based AIDS service organization north of Seattle and south of Vancouver BC.
Lifelong AIDS Alliance: Lifelong AIDS Alliance was formed in January 2001 through the merger of Chicken Soup Brigade and Northwest AIDS Foundation. This union creates a new agency ready to face a new era in the HIV/AIDS epidemic. We provide housing and home chores, food and nutrition services, insurance continuation, transportation, case management, and emergency financial assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS; our community services include prevention education and national public policy advocacy.
Pierce County AIDS Foundation: The mission of the Pierce County AIDS Foundation is to affirm the dignity of all persons, promote the prevention of HIV infection through education and service, assist persons living with HIV/AIDS and their families, and oppose discrimination based on sexism, racism and homophobia associated with this disease. The Pierce County AIDS Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1987 to respond to the needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS in Pierce County. A Board of Directors oversees the work of Foundation staff and volunteers.
The Babes Network: The BABES Network was started by a diverse group of HIV positive women who cam e together to share information, experiences, and support. BABES is founded on the concept that HIV+ women are uniquely qualified to understand and encourage one another.
The Center for Palliative Care Education: The Center for Palliative Care Education is an educational resource center and training program. Our mission is to improve palliative care for people with HIV/AIDS by increasing the knowledge, skills, and comfort level of clinicians to provide this care.

AIDS Network of the Tri-state Area: The AIDS Network is a 501 (c)[3] not for profit community based organization formed to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS through education and awarness and to provide support service to those living with HIV.

AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin: The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) provides aggressive HIV prevention; training and education; access to comprehensive services for people affected by HIV disease; clinical research on HIV treatment and HIV advocacy through nine statewide offices.

Wyoming Positives for Positives: In May 2003, Wyoming: Positives For Positives will celebrate ten years of service as a community based, HIV/AIDS service organization. The agency provides much needed, HIV direct care and information services to many segments of rural America, and increasingly, developing countries globally.
Wyoming Rural AIDS Prevention Projects: The Wyoming Rural AIDS Prevention Projects (WRAPP) is a five year research project funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. WRAPP is focused on improving the lives of rural men.
