Acces to care and support: The main objective of Burundian Network of PLWHS.

ISSUES: A good support and access to care may be a key to success in fighting HIV/AIDS. Description and results: The work done by RBP+ is to promote positive living, to make advocacy for global support and to reduce denial and stigma. All levels are now touched by the implementation of the RBP+. Local administration, religious and others locals leaders are touched by our advocacy and workshop between people Living with HIV and community leaders are organised. We have now the commiteement of those persons and a large support to PLWHS are now initiated.

METHODS: The approach used is: TestimoniesVisit by PLWHS to local leadersWorkshop between PLWHS and locals leadersAdvocacy by correspondences, petitionBroadcasting emissions and television emissionsWe need now the main comiteement of the government to organise all those hold house for giving a national response to the problem of care and support.

RECOMMENDATIONS: There is a need of commitment of the government, international organisms and locals communities to accompagn the effort of people living with HIV. To fight AIDS must begin by to accept and to protect PLWHS. This is the condition to organise care and support. And the consequence will be the reinforcement of voluntary testing, the positive living and this will help to reduce the contaminate rate
