Positive body the Silence Breaking - Program of Action and Education for Persons Living with HIV- AIDS.

ISSUES: This program arose from the own need to make the social reality visible and it medicates of all the Persons who Live With HIV-AIDS (PLWA) in our community. Two important facts have developed for the active participation and capture of decisions on the part of the PLWA: the Total Access to the Antiviral Therapy and Diseases Opportunists (DO) and To generate means of Work for the Subsistence of these persons.

DESCRIPTION: First, to identify PLWA lead in his community men and women and, to define the basic urgent needs in the community HIV in our city. I develop 2 important fields of Work: I access to DO General Medicines and Antiviral Therapy of entities you publish and private and the Development of Micro-companies of Work and Manualidades. They qualified in the first phase 42 PVVIH as Promoters of Couples(Par), and Facilitators. All of them have managed in 8 months of work by means of existential workshops, to have a high active Activism in all the means of work and in public and private organisms of educating and sensitization to the whole city in Iquitos, Peru.

LESSONS LEARNED: The dissemination and the activism in information and education on the part of the Promoters and Facilitators has been achieved to obtain financing for the workshops of Micro-company of Work to achieve a subsistence of life, to have protagonism in all the spheres of the society and to show the royal(real) face of the persons who live with HIV-AIDS; with respect, love and comprehension, and especially to have equality in opportunities as for health, education, work, human rights. Recommendation: Now we are 128 persons promoters of help, activism and education in AIDS. This practice has generated futures you programme for women and children and he is an appropriate model who facilitates the integral development for the whole PLWA and wants to live with dignity with the desire to learn and be a protagonist in his life.
