issues zambia is one of the countries in the world with the highest number of HIV /AIDS cases there are so many orphans most of them infected with HIV and most likely have lost their parents to AIDS. these orphans do not have food, medicines, are deprived of their rights. these orphans and vulnerable children have no access at all to information about the disease which killed their parents or the disease they are suffering from. vulnerable children defiled or raped and infected with AIDS. description the lusaka youth forum for peace is a youth project aimed at HIV/AIDS awareness to fellow young people, vulnerable and orphaned children. this is done through highly interactive activities such as talent shows, songs.art exhibitions etc. these are highly interactive so as to capture the young people aged below 14 years are taught about HIV/AIDS. these activities are also targeted at orphaned children in orphanages who are often overlooked. lessons learnedi believe the greatest gift one can ever give to a vulnerable child is knowledge apart from food, clothing etc. knowledge is one thing the child shall forever hold and i believe in the times like these when we have the AIDS epidemic,a lecture to a child who has no parents, about the deadly disease and how it can be prevented can do alot to secure the childs future. recommendationi would like to challenge the youth world over to take the responsibility of reaching out to orphaned and vulnerable children and talking to them about HIV/AIDS. our theme this year is "access for all," let us make sure that even orphans and vulnerable children have access to information on the HIV and AIDS epidermic.i am an 18 year old youth speaking on behalf of the child especilly the orphan who has no hope but has a people like everyone reading this to help him or her make our world a better place to live in. AIDS free!
