ISSUES: various modes of prevention of the STI/HIV/AIDS starts has to be null and void or do not meet any more adhesion of the populations. So it proved to be significant to find new means of prevention which is indirect and less noisy the such cyber space, the gaming rooms and the restaurants: case of K.pote Kiosc in Abidjan: Ruban Rouge CI initiative.

DESCRIPTION: from june 2003 to November 2003; the personnel (6) is composed of a cooker and his assistance, a barman, and three waiters ( 2 girls and 1 boy); the cure the lack of means scour in the ONG of Ivory coast, RRCI initiated a AGR in the restaurant and the service delicatessen. This service in addition to restoration, fact of sensitising and the prevention in an indirect way. That is due on the one hand to the decoration of the framework and on the other hand to the competence of the personnel which is ready to inform and to answer all interrogations of the customers relating to the STI/HIV/AIDS. Also a folder of information on the STI/HIV/AIDS and condom are given to each customer after having regulated his addition.

LESSONS LEARNED: 6 paid associative members; frequentation of the restaurant ( women 37%, men 63%) age (less than 20 years 18%, 20-35 years 49%, 35 years 33%) ; young people 67%, adult 33%;people sensitised by activities over 6 months: ( restaurant 2880 people, bar 7200 people, coffee pauses(32) 458 people, lunch pauses (16) 229 people, cocktail (5) 625 people.)

RECOMMENDATIONS: this project is innovative because it combins restoration and sensitising which is completely indicated to the young population. As, it would be significant as it is reinforced ( organization of lunchon debates, spectacles, film projection) in order to raise the multitude of the customers for a greater sensitizing.
