METHODOLOGY: Through clinical guidelines we obtained information that lead to improve health. Some of the contents of the guideline are: name, address, age, description of the community, level of education, and socioeconomic level. We try to detect psichosocial problems and the use of drugs and to survey the way that these women had adquired the disease.
RESULTS: Throughout the 2001 we interview 100 HIV women per month, they were assigned to: Follow-up / 100% Mental Health (Psychologist and Psychiatrist) / 30% Social Worker / 40% Gynecologist-Obstetric (50%)
CONCLUSIONS: 1. These women were monitoring in a personal way, they received information to promote and improve their way of life and also their rights. 2. The pregnant women allow us to identify their needs for example: HIV test without consent, the right to breast-feed, the righ to abortion. 3. Our group make improvements in the knowledge of the disease 4. The counselling succeed in obtaining accurate information about family problems. 5. The survey allow us to know the the health politics is absent regarding HIV women
