I've been receiving antiviral therapy since 2004 (Efavirenz, Abacavir, Lamivudine). Last month my CD4-lymphocite count was 651, but yesteday I received my lab test showing that my WBC count is 3.50 (normal is 4-10) and Lymphocite count is 79 (Neutrophiles 18). I' have no symptoms, except slight diarrhea (yellow in colour) every now and then, and also eyes itching occassionaly. Shall I be worried?

To answer your question, I do not think you should be worried at all. Your CD4 count is quite good at 651. Although your WBC is 3.5 with the normal being above 4.0, the majority of people with HIV have a slightly low WBC. It is nothing to be worried about. Your neutrophils are a little low, but we see that commonly in HIV as well. Without any other associated symptoms, I am not worried at all. If you have any more concerns, make sure you talk to your HIV provider. Thanks for your question.
