Question:

I have a question for the doctor. I have HIV and Hep C and are on Atripla and Peg-inteferon/Co-peg treatment but I am experiencing horrible dry skin on my earlobes, chin, other areas of face. Is there anything I can do to help alleviate this flaky, dry skin? It has gotten worse since I started Hep C treatment.
Thank you.

Your skin problem probably is related in some way to your hepatitis C treatment (it's not a side effect of Atripla). But I think you should see a dermatologist. It's very difficult to diagnose a skin problem without examining the patient. It may simply be dry skin or you may have some sort of skin infection.
