There is a small percent of individuals living with the virus who are labeled LTNP(long term non-progressor). I along with some other people are trying to find out what makes us so different. I recently founded out that CCR532 might be the reason why we don't progress. Do you have any information about CCR532 and also any information about a research for LTNP??
The question of long term non-progressors is fascinating, and it is the subject of lots of research. There may be host factors, such as the CCR532 receptor, and others, as well as some viral factors in some clusters of LTNP.
I don't think that anyone could answer the question as to what makes you specifically an LTNP, without intensive laboratory investigations.
You're certainly lucky.
