Question:

Please I would like to know if the symptoms in ARS come in paroxysms? Like you would feel fine for a day and the next day you are down again. Then say 2 weeks later it comes again. Is this typical of ARS?
--Thanks

Overall, it is not typical for ARS to occur in waves of feeling ill, then well, then ill again. But this issue has not been studied in any great detail, and I would never want to rule out the possibility of HIV based on what you wrote. If you did have unprotected sexual activity or needle exchange and then come down with a "flu-like" syndrome somewhere within the next several weeks (common symptoms fever, fatigue, swollen glands, rash, etc.), then you should be screened using appropriate tests.
