What about interaction between abacavir + tenofovir+ videx?
Marty Markowitz, M. D.

When coadministering tenofovir [Viread] and ddI [Videx] the dose of ddI [Videx] should be reduced to 250 mg qd. Tenofovir (TDF) dosing should be 300 mg daily, the usual dosage.
The combination you write of is a triple nucleoside regimen; to date once daily triple nucleoside therapy with ABC [abacavir=Ziagen] + 3TC [lamivudine=Epivir] +TDF [Viread], or ddI [Videx], 3TC [lamivudine=Epivir] and TDF [Viread] have resulted in high numbers of early virologic failures....So a more important consideration might be whether or not one should be on this regimen at all.
