I have a question about 1st generation ELISA tests. I have taken 3 ELISA tests all 1st generation. The first one was from Quest diagnostics at 3.5 months the second a 5.5 and 7.5 months with Home Access.
So, the question is has the 1st generation antibody tests been updated also, or are the tests you are referring to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations?

I'm referring to the latest generation of HIV antibody tests, which at this point is the fourth generation test.
