If a patient has consecutive false postive HIV tests on two ocassions followed by 2 negative Western Blot tests, is there any need to do further workups regarding antiphosphlipid syndromes, SLE or possible alloimmunization syndromes that may affect future pregnancies?
A test for antibodies directed against HIV will only answer the question of HIV infection. If you doubt that the tests are definitive for HIV infection, you could repeat them a third time.
I am not sure what the question is that you are asking. An HIV test cannot be used to diagnose any autoimmune disease, Rh antibodies, or whatever.
If you clarify your question, I hope I can be of more assistance.
