Hello Doctors,
Could you help me with a list of HIV meds that work well for a person with severe Hemophilia? I ask this question because I was told there are some anti-HIV meds that increase internal bleeding for hemophilics.
I did not find any specific information on this or any website...sorry for the trouble.Marty Markowitz, M. D.

Other than possible increased bleeding with PIs, I am not aware of any other ARVs that cause increased bleeding in hempohiliacs. There is no new data on the use of PIs with hemophilia....No other drugs increase bleeding episodes...
