LaCARP seeks patients for study that will compare protease inhibitors.

Abstract: The Louisiana Community AIDS Research Program (LaCARP) is conducting a Protease Inhibitor Progression (PIP) study to determine how to lower the amount of HIV virus in the body. The trial is for HIV-positive patients, over 13 years of age, who have detectable viral loads, and who are on their initial course of protease inhibitor therapy. Treatment regimens and study criteria are outlined. Contact information is provided.
