AIDS Treat News. 1999 Jan 8;(No 310):6-7. Unique Identifier : AIDSLINE AIDS/20700013

Abstract: Dr. Robert Gallo of the University of Maryland's Institute of Human Virology hopes to develop natural, patient-friendly, nontoxic treatments. It is hoped that these treatments will also be economically affordable for those who are unable to afford current treatments. The United Nations predicts that by 2015 there will be 62 million AIDS deaths in sub-Saharan Africa unless promising new treatments are developed.
