Abstract: Researchers and clinicians at the Vancouver International Conference on AIDS noted that remarkable advances have been made in antiretroviral therapy, and all classes of drugs show viral load reductions. Patients need to be increasingly aware of the need for complete compliance with their drug regimens, as resistance is an ongoing problem. The clinical histories of several patients who received aggressive therapy early in the course of their infection are noted, including those of patients who seroconverted.
