Abstract: Knight's Spray Nine sales have risen 25 percent since they launched their new market strategy which states that the spray kills HIV-1 in 30 seconds. However, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officials say HIV is so fragile outside the body that a spray is virtually useless. Manufacturers of the cleaning product claim it is for emergency care providers who may be exposed to bodily fluids. Spray Nine has been used by NASA to clean the space shuttle.
