Abstract: (Producer) Jacquelyn H. Flaskerud is internationally recognized for her cultural research on AIDS education, HIV testing, and counseling for minority women and for her studies examining Asian American clients and mental health services. Dr. Flaskerud is involved in AIDS education and outreach through the UCLA AIDS Institute, Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Immunology and Diseases, and the Asian American Studies Center at UCLA. She is currently a principal investigator for a five-year NIAID project on prevention of AIDS in Latina women.
