Remember my name. [videorecording]

[Princeton, N.J.] : Films for the Humanities, c1988 1 videocassette (52 min.) : sd., col. ; 1/2 in Unique Identifier : AIDSLINE AV/9301601A

Abstract: (Producer) It began in San Francisco with the assembly of a few 3'x6' panels, each bearing the name of a single AIDS victim, and has grown to a quilt containing over 8,000 individual panels and weighing over 16 tons. The story of this quilt's growth-which is also the story of the AIDS epidemic and how it has touched the lives of millions of Americans-is told through 11 individual chronicles which show the plight of children who are living with AIDS, the impact of AIDS on religion and community, the role of the family, and the effect of the fear and stigma and AIDS on private lives and public attitudes.
