Abstract: An alarming number of cases of the AIDS syndrome have been detected worldwide, and greater extension of the disease is expected in the near future. Ethical aspects are important in relation to AIDS, since freedom of human behavior is involved in most cases. Ethical aspects of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of AIDS especially in relation to the attitude of health personnel, are analyzed in this paper.
