Abstract: (Producer) In this software package, the physician is guided through a series of decision-making situations related to managing and coping with AIDS. Case I reviews evaluation of risk for HIV infection and the pros and cons of antibody testing. Case II reviews identification and discussion of generalized lymphadenopathy and infection control practices. Case III includes discussion of alternative lifestyles, safer sex practices, and the role of the primary care physician in infection prevention education. Case IV reviews the development of AIDS policies, of AFRAIDS (Acute Fear Reaction to AIDS) and the likelihood of casual transmission.
