Abstract: (Producer) This program explains how venereal disease is transmitted and what kinds of sexual activity can transmit infection. Many STD's can be treated and cured medically; AIDS is the fatal exception. This program explains how the AIDS viruses lay their victim open to opportunistic infections and what these are; the problems of the long incubation period; how HIV affects the immune system; and how AIDS can be caught.
