Abstract: A survey conducted amongst the 40 donor insemination centres in the UK registered by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) showed that most of the clinics had no structured policy for control of common (non-HIV) sexually transmitted diseases within their programmes.
