Abstract: (Producer) A compassionate, professional nursing approach to the complex range of emotional and physical problems faced by the patient with AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). In an interview with two AIDS patients, they describe their experiences and reactions to the disease and its profound effects on their life and that of their families. Addresses the nursing needs of patients with AIDS. Highlights and updates the nurses's role in caring for these individuals. The most common nursing diagnoses are presented.
