Abstract: Superficial immunological similarities between sarcoidosis and AIDS led to this radioimmunoassay survey of serum antibodies to HTLV III virus in 17 patients with active sarcoidosis, 8 with peripheral lymphadenopathy. Serum antibodies were negative in all patients with sarcoidosis.
