Abstract: A patient with AIDS developed local complications of BCG vaccination and disseminated chickenpox with severe pneumonia. This cas suggests that AIDS patients should not receive BCG vaccination and that adults with severe chickenpox should be investigated for LAV/HTLV III virus carriage.
