Abstract: There are several causes of hepatic granulomas, infective and non-infective. Modern technology, including monoclonal antibody techniques and histochemistry, has shed light on the morphology of the sarcoid granuloma. There are numerous causes of hepatic granulomas, both infective and non-infective. The causes are listed and a clinico-pathological plan of management outlined.
