Abstract: Clinically uninvolved skin in a homosexual patient with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and Kaposi's sarcoma showed abnormal vascular proliferation (pre-Kaposi's sarcoma). The diagnostic and therapeutic implications of this finding are discussed.
