Abstract: Ultrastructures of Japanese monkey (Macaca fuscata)-derived type C virus particles in a monkey lymphoid cell line, expressing adult T-cell leukemia (ATL)-associated antigens, are indistinguishable from those of human ATL-associated virus in human and monkey cell lines.
