Abstract: Immunotherapy-immunomodulation is discussed with respect to inhalant allergen immunotherapy, immunotherapy for infectious diseases, transfer factor, and nonspecific immunotherapy. The latter is discussed with respect to BCG, Corynebacterium parvum, levamisole, thymosin, interferon, bone marrow replacement, and plasmapheresis. Results of bone marrow transplantation in patients with severe combined immunodeficiency, aplastic anemia, and malignant diseases are reviewed. (32 Refs)
