Abstract: Defects in T and B cell mediated inflammatory mechanisms are reviewed. Cell mediated immunity defects are often associated with certain tumors, particularly Hodgkin's disease, squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, and colon carcinoma. Specific syndromes of primary immunodeficiency are among other topics discussed. (82 Refs)
