AIDS Walk Washington set for Oct. 3: 5K walk to benefit Whitman-Walker Clinic

AIDS Walk Washington, a 5K fundraising walk to benefit the Whitman-Walker Clinic, is set for Oct. 3.

Money raised from the walk helps Whitman-Walker provide health care and other supportive services to people living with HIV/AIDS.

For more information about the event, including registration forms, visit www.aidswalkwashington.org. General walk registration costs $25, general run registration costs $35, and student registration costs $15. A sleep walker registration, intended for those who want to support the event but cannot join the walk, costs $40.

AIDS Walk Washington begins and ends at Freedom Plaza in downtown Washington.
